Jesus is anti-gay but loves kiddie-fiddlers
An anti-gay pastor who taught that gay people were the “devil” thought it was ok to molest children.
The hate-filled anti-gay Christian Pastor Kenneth Adkins of Jacksonville, Florida cheered when 49 people at the Pulse gay bar were shot tweeting: “I don’t see none of them as victims. I see them as getting what they deserve!”
However, it appears that Adkins was operating under the misapprehension that Jesus was not only anti-gay but approved of him molesting children.
Adkins previously made headlines when he dressed as a woman to protest LGBT rights law with the charmingly enlightened religious message “I am gonna ‘pee’ next to your women in the women’s bathroom and let’s see how yall feel.”
His arrest came after a Brunswick Police Department probe focused on suspected molestation taking place in Adkins’ church.
He was found guilty earlier this month on a charge of eight counts of child molestation of a young boy and girl who attended his church and were part of his ‘mentoring’ scheme.
The court heard that Adkins encouraged the young teens to have sex in front of him so he could “judge” them, before joining in himself. Because it is what Jesus would have wanted.
Adkins was sentenced yesterday to life in prison, with a minimum of 35 years spent behind bars. He was also jailed for 20 years on additional charges, all to run concurrently.
What is weird about all this is that Adkins, like many conservative Christians believe that gay people must be pedophiles, despite a complete lack of evidence. On that basis it is probably more empirical to think that children are more likely to need protecting from conservative Christians than homosexuals.
The good side of it is that since Adkins is 57 now chances are he will die in prison and humanity will not have to hear his anti-gay hate-filled double standard rants ever again.
